Here I am. In Wilhelmshaven. Far in the west. It is about seven hours away from Neubrandenburg with a train. It was a long ride. And so I joined the migration of people who have left Middle Germany for West Germany. Wilhelmshaven has eighty thousand inhabitants, but it had one hundred ten thousand at the time when Neubrandenburg had ninety-five thousand instead sixty. Every one moves from East to West and North to South. I can only go south from here. (Only sort of true. I could go to Flensburg. *shudder*)
What have I learned from this change?
I hate sitting in trains.
love,
Elder Perez
